Adam,
Based on this podcast, I went out and downloaded SuperSync. It doesn’t work. It doesn’t update iTunes as advertised and the SuperSync people are totally unresponsive. I went to versiontracker and found comments with the same problem and no support. In fact, one user said SuperSync removed it’s own forum for user discussions. Did they seem like a real company at the show?
Tim
Tim,
They did seem like any other small company at the show and the product seemed to work in the demo he gave me. At Macworld one of my goals it to try and discover new companies that have products to solve a need of the listeners. I like to try and help the little guy. I spoke directly with the developer and he seemed genuine. Many of these guys are busy working another job, juggling family, and trying to pursue their dream of developing software on the side. I am sorry to hear you are having trouble getting support from them. Another product that I know was getting buzz on the floor, but I didn’t make it over to see, was TuneRanger, http://www.acertant.com/web/tuneranger/default.htm. Maybe you want to give that one a try.
Have you guys considered a review of the various iTunes synching products?” SuperSync is working great for me and my family to merge music between our computers to create a master library around the house.
I was able to download it for free on the site:
