Adam, thanks for sharing the unboxing video. As someone who is sort of on the fence on whether or not to buy the new fourth gen nano, I was wondering which one you prefer design-wise, the third gen or the fourth gen? To me, the third gen is just an all-around better design. It seems like it fits better in the hand and it doesn’t seem like you could snap it in half like the fourth gen.
I am waiting for the 16GB models to be available to purchase my new Nano. I had no complaints with my 1G Nano but the battery life was shot. I ended up buy a 3G Nano and hate the form factor, so I’m so glad to get a new 4G Nano that I am absolutely certain will be easier to hold and use.
This is a very good unboxing video (despite the distractions of your boo-boo on your thumb – ouch!!). You should definitely do more of these. This is one of the better unboxing videos I’ve seen.
Adam, Great video. I watched it on your site, then downloaded it and put it in iTunes TV shows with other Apple videos I have grouped together. Is it possible to put the video in your podcast feed? It would be nice to be able to have it with the other maccasts in the podcasts section on my iPhone, and to access it via your handy dandy iPhone web app. Keep up the great work! Regards, Lon
Agree with Lon. It would not suck if this was in the podcast feed.
Hey could you please take a pic of the new nano and the fat nano comparing the thinness!!! I can not find any pics on the web doing that!!! thnxs love your podcast!
Thanks for all the great feedback. The player was supposed to have a “RSS” link, but I guess it was missing. I have added it to the player and you’ll find the feed here: http://www.maccast.com/macsnacs.xml. I am still getting used to the whole video thing and I am not sure how often I will be doing a vid, so I haven’t added it to the iTunes Store yet. I don’t want to mix the audio and video feeds as I believe those are to different experiences and personally find it annoying to have them mixed. I will try to post some comparison picts soon.
The screen of 4th Gen iPod nano is too small, I prefer the size of iPhone screen, if 4th Gen iPod nano screen can be bigger, will be better. Anyone knows the price yet?
Hope it’s not inbulit battery again, battery is always a problem when it comes to Apple products.
