Hey Adam,
The news of the day is that Lion will permit virtualization of Mac OS X *clients* using Parallels and VMWare (or equivalent, presumably). Haven’t heard whether they will officially permit virtualization of older cats, but it is obviously to their advantage to to so. Folks who don’t want to upgrade to Lion because of incompatibilities with old (Rosetta) programs can just run their old stuff in virtual and run their new and cool stuff under Lion. If they can see that virtualizing Snow Leopard will increase sales rather than reduce it, then they should do it.
