Anthony from the Opie and Anthony show spent over 12 hours trying to install Windows Vista without success. After downloading countless drivers that didn’t work and dealing with lots of hardware conflict issues, he finally figured out the best way…
LOVE IT!
Kinda harsh tho dontcha think?
THAT IS SO FUNNY i told my mom and she thought this was funny.
Ohh, yeah thats what ive been doing wrong. Im not sure if my shredder is windows vista compatible though, maybe ill try the chainsaw!
“Kinda harsh tho dontcha think?” Yeah on that poor shredder! I wasted £200 on a copy for my tablet, took it back to the shop and got a refund, 5 years of production and this is the finished product? what a great business model. Come on Mr J end my pain and give me a tablet Mac…….please…….pretty please!
Odd that he mentions loading it on his new machine. He’s mentioned many times on his show that he’s a Mac user and recently bought the iMac, so it’s unclear as to what machine he’s doing this on or whether it was just a big goof, since he really doesn’t need it.
BTW, they promote Macs heavily on their daily program and have given MacBooks away as prizes several times.
That was funny but you know I did not have that much problems with installing Vista. True I Got a computer that was fully Vista ready and just had to fine a couple of drivers but it working. But you know as good as it looks and runs so far it still not as easy to install as OSX is.
I’ll just say wau.
It is funny still!
I have to say, I’m so desperate to get Windows Vista that I’ll plan to put it on my budget for 2010, yes year 2010.
I actually use both platforms at this point and is so funny when all my friends call me with problems on their XP machines and I just tell them “that is why I have a mac” plus I’m running Win 2000Pro for whatever I do with a pc. Not that XP or Vista is bad, they just don’t work. Is that bad? : ).
Luis
AHHHH HAAAA. That was funny. So M$ is up to the same old tricks to sell new hardware with the software. Buy stock in hp.
ummm, am I missing somthing, i cant see whatever is under the title. a movie?
I liked the video, but I had never heard of this “Opie and Anthony show”, nor can I sample their program online.
Kinda harsh tho dontcha think?
Not as “harsh” as paying hundreds of dollars for an operating system for your computer and spending 12 hours trying to get it to work.
Only a moron needs 12 hours to install an operating system. Vista is easy to use. I’m surprised that idiot didn’t stick his whole hand in the shredder.
@Roberto Johannson: that isn’t a very nice thing to say about someone who probably doesn’t read this thread. I suggest you add your comment to the YouTube video, so he is able to respond to your claims.
Roberto Johannson: What type of setup do you have? for the average person installing vista is not easy. I ordered a customer preview program beta just to see what it was like, and it took nearly three to four hours to install on a brand new custom built computer, and guess what? My MOUSE didn’t work with it! Of all things the mouse was the incompatible device! I finally whipped and installed XP…at least XP supported my mouse! the whole thing was ridiculous. You never have anything like that happen on Mac OS X. Also, why are you endorsing Windows on the maccast? Take that somewhere else where people will actually listen. Sheesh.
Hey people, of course we know that Windows users can’t help to see what they are missing. Apple Rules…
Great stuff!! Absolutely hilarious…
Hauhauahuahauh! Agreed!
Hasta la Vista! =)
I love Apple and despise MS, but this video is a total farse. The guy seems really arrogant, and not only that but an obvious liar. Apparently no one else has noticed, but he CLAIMS that he tried installing this Vista on his NEW PC, and now since it didn’t work, he puts it in this shredder, right? Well, doesn’t anyone see him open the damn SHRINK WRAP on the package before he starts shredding??? HELLO!!!
I just installed Vista Home Premium on a friend’s 3 year old Gigabyte Socket 754 AMD machine and the only device that vista would not recognise was a PCI ATA Raid Controller. On the software side it was Norton and Nero 7 (not Nero 7 Reloaded) that would not work.
Well… I tried vista and I really hated it.
Many of the drivers I had weren’t supported. I tried downloading drivers for Vista, but no luck.
Sigh…, Now I’m back to XP in my PC.
I can’t wait until leopard comes out, to get a mac….
typical microsoft…. it just DOESN’T work!
You’re absolute king! SLAY THE BULLSHIT FROM MICROSOFT!!!
