Ok Apple did it too, so I don’t feel as bad.

Hey Geeks. I hate to keep doing this, but I am still not ready to get a show out too you and it’s KILLING me. Just so you are kept “in the know”, here what’s up. I recently went back to a day job and needless to say I have been putting in some killer hours. Add to that an hour long commute each way and I have been a little spent in the evenings. I need to reorganize some things and try to get back on track. I think I am almost there and I should have the show done this weekend. Sunday is going to be a full day of podcasting starting with the Loop in the AM, so if you are dying for your Maccast fix join us there. My hope (fingers crossed) is to have the next Maccast up and posted that evening. Believe me, as much as you hate this delay I hate it more. You have been awesome with your emails of support and understanding and I can’t thank you enough for those. I think after this weekend I will have a handle on my new schedule and be back to the regular weekly Maccast schedule. Until next time…

Hey, wait a minute Adam! As much as we really enjoy your stuff, I think you’re being unfair to yourself for feeling guilty. Take the time you need to reschedule your life, and we will be waiting here patiently for your next show.

As far as i’m concerned you have the best Macintosh related podcast out there. Your love for the brand really shines through and you also seem to enjoy what you’re doing. Heck you really sound like a nice guy. Don’t change Adam!

Dude, you do this for FREE! We can wait. But thanks for the update. I have experienced a few favourites podfading lately, so I get worried.

Yours was the first podcast I listened to and it is still the best!

    One more time everybody, singing
    # It’s the end of the world as we know it … ;-)

Adam, no need to apologize. As I said in a previous posting, we – especially Europeans – are used to waiting … But good things are worth it ! Your podcast is gold. I wish you much courage & joy.

No worries at all Adam…. gives me the slimmest of chances to keep up with Scoble’s output for a change. Looking forward to the next Maccast but don’t kill yourself.

    We still love you.

    Adam,
I echo the above sentiments. I stand in awe of your ability to put out a quality podcast on a regular basis, maintain an awesome website — esp. in its new iteration — do the Sunday call-in with Victor — AND maintain a day job; plus I’m sure you need to spend some quality time with your wife and family!

Adam, do your thing…WE AREN’T GOING ANYWHERE! Recharge, relax, reorganize…..believe me, you got fans out here.

    Hey Adam,
Relax man. Glad to know you’re alright. Ditto to the rest of the comments. Looking forward to the next podcast…so is my little 9-month old!

With all that you do, you would make a really good Mom…ha ha ha. Now you know what it’s like.
    All about the multi-tasking, man!

Love your show…see ya when you have a chance to exhale. We’ll be here.

    Adam,

I don’t mind that the Maccast is late, however everybody probably wishes that Apple would have had Leopard ready before October, this recently annouced pushback might cost Apple some of its back to school sales, but of course this kind of statement is coming from a guy that already uses a Mac and doesn’t want to upgrade the software so soon. I remember when I bought my Powerbook and then Panther launched a month later. At that time I didn’t even relize that Apple had a new OS coming out, and I think that’s the case with a lot of new switchers out there, they aren’t aware of what Apple is doing internally nor do they care.

Dude, you need to relax. I don’t want you blowing a gasket over us fans. Get your life in order. We can wait for the podcast. Bye the way – love the new site design.

    Adam,
    Chill out.
We’d rather you be late than make yourself sick.
Take your time. Most everybody understands.

I can’t say it any better than Bruno (Canada). He’s completely right, Adam, I think we are all just thankful that you put all this effort and work into all that you do for us MacCast fans out there. You have tons of fans and we will all support you and wait patiently, because you show how much you really care about the Apple and Mac fan base. Take all the time you need, rest, relax and get settled in the new job.

    Thanks for all you do!

  16. TokyoFan | Apr 15 2007 - 04:14

    Adam,
Thanks for all you do. You have my favorite Podcast. Good things are worth the wait.
    Take Good Care.
P.S. What podcast do you listen to on that long commute? I listen to your Podcast on the Train here in Tokyo.

  17. Nick | Apr 15 2007 - 04:39

Agree with Bruno. Take it easy – we will still be here

  18. matt | Apr 16 2007 - 12:36

The site looks really cool now Adam… I know you are continually striving to bring us the show…. no sweat, hear ya when we hear ya…

  19. manish jain | Apr 16 2007 - 03:20

New site looks Awesome. And yeah, we are all bummed about the delay in the podcast but it ain’t the end of the world.

Luckily in your favor there hasn’t been a bunch of new products from Apple.

    take care,

    mrj

    Hey Adam:

I completely agree with the other Maccast fans here. Many people would consider your shows equal to a full-time job, based on the amount of research and prep that podcasts take, and a well-rested Adam makes for a happier Maccaster!

Thanks for all the great info you share!
