I have a question. I have 2 or 3 macs, one is a laptop, one is a server, and I made my own “apple tv” from an old G4 laptop, so 3 I guess. Anyway How can I keep all my copies of Itunes sync’d
In an ideal world, I would like to have my laptop have just the music I’m into right now, the server hold ever song I own, and the apple TV have access to it.. Any ideas?
There are a couple of apps you can look at for this:
ChronoSync, http://www.econtechnologies.com/site/Pages/ChronoSync/chrono_overview.html
Martian Slingshot, http://www.martian.com/SlingShot.html
Adam- You spoke about a tools for using your laptop at different locations. I found this program this morning on the Apple site. Don’t know if you’ve used/heard of it, but I figured I’d pass along the link…it seems like this is another alternative from what the individual was looking for: http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/networking_security/networklocation.html
Adam, you talked about using the Airport Express with iTunes for getting music to your stereo system. I have been doing this for some time and it’s great. What I would like to do is feed music to two audio systems at the same time. If I have 2 Airport Express units will iTunes connect to both at the same time?
Anyone know of a free alternative to Marco Polo for Panther?
