Have you heard how to print from the iPad? Will you be able to hook a usb printer or use WiFi?

Another must reason to spend extra $130 for 3G is that it also comes with GPS which is not a feature on wifi models. GPS is a must for me, but I agree with Ken that wifi is in most places.
So basically, I’ll get my GF to buy wifi iPad and I’ll play with till my 3G iPad comes out.

I would go for the 3G version – there will be some point where you really want/need it. Is it not possible to pop out the sim card from the iPhone and pop it into the iPad? Obviously you won’t have a phone for the time it is out, but for those who only need it a few times per year it could be helpful.

An answer to my question about using iPhone sims in the iPad:

I do want to point out that there are ways of converting your iPhone/Droid into a wifi hotspot. I used an iPhone for two years and have now switched to the Droid and have made it possible to use the Droid as a wifi hot spot. This essentially makes having a 3G chip worthless to me and hopefully more people who might stumble on this. America does not need another monthly bill, AT$T isn’t giving you the network worthy of paying them yet another $15 – $30 a month.

Iconjohn – the GPS isn’t real GPS. It’s similar to the GPS in the first iPhone using wifi hotspots and cell towers. It isn’t the same as what the 3G phones have. Also, the wifi GPS is available on the regular model and will be as good as the first iPhone was which wasn’t to bad. I don’t think the 3G version will be $130 + monthly charges better than the non 3G. This information is available on the Apple site.

Good luck everyone. I am looking forward to the ship date.
