Flash wars: So when is Apple going to start sending their emails without flash. I find it quite ironic (and somewhat frustrating) to receive news and announcement emails from Apple and I can’t view them on my iPhone.
Don’t know if you are aware that this podcast and the previous one do not play on the iPhone/iPad from iTunes store. The podcasts prior to the last two play just fine from iTunes.
In your latest Podcast you were talking about the iPhone having 72% of the Smartphone market in Japan. It should be noted, that the Smartphone market in Japan itself migh be about 28% of the total Mobile phone market in Japan.
Japan is highly addicted to their flip-phone format phones. The move into the Smartphone arena in general has been VERY slow as it is more of a culture of comfort with what they know and are familiar with. For most that remains the high-energy flip-phones with Japan-only unique functionality built in (ie., SUICA for payment for things like goods & train tickets right from the device).
Good to know Rik. Thanks for adding to the conversation.
All this time I’ve been using Rip it and I didn’t know I could access the Video TS folder? Right click>Show Package contents.
I still use Mac the Ripper 2.2.6 which works well and I can’t seem to find a newer version since 2005. But it’s free.
