Adam, you said itunes 7, i ran software update and no iTunes 7, is this just a typo, and happy holidays!!
Ha ha. Ahh no. That is what I typed, I can see how that may be confusing. I was referring to the 7 CD burn limit in iTunes 6.
Hi Adam,
This show 110 on Itunes was a great help for me.
Thanks very much, i have learned a lot from your Podcast’s. keep up the good work.

Spellbound – http://spellbound.sourceforge.net/index
Its what I use on Win.
Adam,
re: spelling – are you dyslexic?
I didn’t think dyslexics were clever .. but Albert Einstein was dyslexic. So is Richard Branson (British guy) …
Dyslexia is not intellgence linked – dyslexics are just VISUAL THINKERS
Apparently loads of dyslexics are into graphic design, computing and architecture cos they really excel in those fields
Just a thought..
Chris
My dyslexic cousin is a multi-millionaire, who started in poverty.
I wish I was dyslexic!
I know of many, many dyslexics who are now highly successful, who started out being labelled ‘stupid’ at school (or similar)
I mean *extremely* wealthy, *extremely* articulate and *extremely* clever. They just can’t write very well (so they type) and make loads of grammar mistakes (in written not spoken english)
where is the link to that sketch you said was funny in the show?
oops, sorry, i just finished listening, and you mentioned where to find the shownotes!
My math teacher is dislexic during the introduction of DOS. she knows binary and all the fancy stuff like that. And thanks adam for the clarification, when has there been an iTunes update, arent we still in 6.1? its good cuz there no bugs i guess. and happy holidyas evryone!
could not find your link to the snl/steve jobs sketch you mentioned
Adam, I am curious: why didn’t you mention the name of that software (that google would probably tell us anyway – ‘remove drm itunes’).
Can someone please clarify that it is actually against the law to use (in Britain). Is that why you didn’t mention the name of the software?
And I believe you have to use a version before iTunes 6.0 (obvious cat and mouse game)
About DRM.. did you know that a company in Germany is selling something that strips the DRM (HDCP) from high def sources. The reason is not to break the law, but to enable people to use their existing hardware (i.e. so they don’t have to go out and buy a plasma screen with HDCP – high definition content protection)
I think the movie companies have to protect their property.
hi all,
where is the link for the SNL skit of Jobs?
thanks to all …
Adam, the mention of the increased bandwidth on .Mac accounts made me think that the rumor (http://www.pbs.org/cringely/pulpit/pulpit20051208.html) of the new video delivery model for videos from iTunes was correct.
The .mac bandwith is up to 10GB, but not 1TB, however someone took a screenshot (or photoshop) of it at 1TB http://homepage.mac.com/alphamatrix/bandwidth.png
Adam: You mentioned in the show that one should keep a USB keyboard around for zapping PRAM and starting up in safe boot mode. Just wanted to let you know that I’ve done this several times with the Bluetooth keyboard that I purchased with my 20″ iMac (first generation). I have never needed to plug-in a USB keyboard for these purposes.
I have encountered the podcast not loading problem too. I listen to the podcast but iTunes would not delete them even though I listened to them and have it set in the preferences to delete after listening. So I delete them manually in iTunes. Then, after a few weeks, it stops downloading them until I click the !.
