I use the show notes just about everytime. I think it’s a great little feature.
Sometimes I read the show notes first and skip ahead to the parts that interest me. Also the included links are very convenient.
Fastest Mac !!! Think again.
I don’t understand how they compair a dual 2.5ghz Mac with a Intel P4 – 3.0ghz PC. Not only that they used only 2gb Ram with that 3.0ghz P4 PC. On the other hand they used 4gb ram with the Dual 2.5ghz Mac. If they wanted to compair with a fastest Pc than Why didn’t they used Intel P4- 3.8ghz 0r AMD 64 FX 55 with 4gb of ram. Do you think it is fair to use a P4 – 3.0ghz cpu insted of a P4-3.8ghz cpu when you are compairing with a Fastest Mac? What do you think about that??
The show notes are very helpful. I somtimes am unable to jot done notes, so simply having a link that I can connect to is a great help. Thanks for all the work you put into the show. Great show.
Keep up with the show notes… I think it’s a standard tool of a top-notch podcast.
Adam,
Thanks for the Hayworth plug! The site and mp3s have seen a nice little surge since you posted the last show. Keep up the good work (and is there something I should know about snowmobiling podcasts?)!

dude- I enjoy the maccast notes. I appreciate what you do. You’re podcast really save me time at work on a pc. I can keep up on the mac gear/news/rumors while at work so at home my G5 continues to kick ass.
Keep on going Adam!
enjoy

Keep the shownotes if you can. They are veru useful.
BTW – I hit the 999 measure limit as well when recording a podcast the other day and got around it by splitting the GarageBand file into two seperate tracks and then joining them with Quicktime Pro.
I haven’t tried this but perhaps if you slow the default cadence/ beat from 120 to a lower value it would make the 999 measures last longer.
Whoever trys this first can report back.
I am a relatively new listener to the MacCast, but when I saw the show notes, I was pleasantly surprised. The layout is great, especially how the links are to the right of a section of text, which makes it easier to pick out the links. Please do keep up the show notes!
