Regarding Jettison — they have a beta of the next version (I got it because I asked), which has the ability to specify a particular disk that doesn’t get ejected on sleep. I use this so that my boxcryptor volume doesn’t get ejected. So, the feature is coming soon. It requires holding down the option key when opening Jettison to get preferences with extras. Way cool.
