I went for my try on experience and found what I consider a major issue for me (although I will purchase the watch and hope for a fix or 3rd party addon). Guys, there is no full viewing calendar on the watch! It does not have to have interactions to it but it is a serious mistake not to allow a quick glance at more than a month out. IE. What day of the month is Christmas on? What day in June does our plane leave on vacation. Let’s all meet next month on a xxx date. You have to use a paper calendar or pull out your phone.
I don’t even care if there is no interaction to the events on future days but my example was on April 30 I wanted to see May calendar to say a Date was ok by me (I don’t fly on Mondays or Fridays) but I could not see a calendar at all to verify that that Date was on what day.
Yes you could ask Seri what day is christmas on, but it was more complicated for the other examples. All the staff were baffled. They called Apple care and they said you have to use a phone to see a full calendar. DUMB! This is a basic time and date function of all systems these days. Please ask your members if this is problems for them and leave feedback to apple as well. They will listen to you.
Sure sounds like Ken Ray and the second person you spoke to in regards to the Apple watch are rather disappointed with what they have got….
only had them for 3-4 days and going nowhere….
give it a chance, crikey…
cant do this, and cant do that….settle down and go thru it all and then whinge….
keep up your good work, anyway, Adam
Hi Adam,
You mentioned a trivia app for the iWatch in your podcast. What was the name of it?
Thanks, Pete
The Trivia app is called Trivia Crack, (iTunes)
