Paying with PayPal? SendStation doesn’t pass you off to PayPal to login they ask for your password on their order page. Maybe it’s really a PayPal page embedded into their site but I’m not going to take the chance. Just my 2cents, jc
For shipping from Germany this isn’t a bad deal, and they would need to know your personal information to ship it to you of course. I don’t use PayPal, credit card works fine and protects you.

what do you need it for, the dock connecter is already having a firewire.
Something that I noticed. When you try to go through the site and pay by mastercard/visa for the shipping handling on the free connector the site displays a message stating that there is a problem so please try again or use paypal. However, if you add something else to the order, then mastercard/visa is suddenly accepted… It leaves an interesting impression even before I read the previous post about paying with PayPal. Does this sounds fishy to anyone else or is it just a weird set of coincidences?
Looks legit to me guys. The site redieced me directly to PayPals site to pay. It was only $6.80 for shipping. Why would anyone feel weird giving them an address and email? How else are they going to mail it to you?

This is legit, SendStation needs to deplete their inventory on this product being APPLE has walked away from the (better) firewire circuitry, in effort to keep the iPod profits up APPLE sacrificed firewire, now that most users are most likely WINDOWS (sad, I know).
It is funny how things work out and from one business to another it is the gamble you take.
Now, I have to tell everyone about using your credit card. There is always a third (or fourth) party involved with a transaction. There are a lot of companies that use PayPal as their credit card merchant and to the consumer, they never even see this involvement from PayPal during a plain credit card transaction (so you thought). PayPal does offer competitive rates as a credit card merchant and MANY businesses that you have unknowing purchased from use them, don’t sweat it, just be smart about your purchases.

This is a good deal any way you slice it.
I already have one. There great if you have a Firewire cable, but maybe you forgot your Ipod cable.
I also have one with a Firewire and line-out connection for my listening in my car (similar to the Sik din cable). If you are planning on actually buying one of these cable I would suggest one with the line-out jack and either Firewire or USB depending on the Ipod model you have. Please take note though that the line-out version of this adapter will not work if you keep your Ipod in certain types of Ipod cases. (I know *some* of the cases from iSkin do not allow this adapter to fit without enlarging the opening in the case that covers the dock connector on the Ipod.)
i wouldn’t be asking question anymore provided that it given for free. anything that is free need not be questioned .
