So here is the Skittles iPod and iPod iSkin you can win in their Star Wars Episode III promotion. Is it just me or is this one even lamer than the one available for sale at ShopStarWars.com?
Listener Lim let me know about 7-11 stores in Singapore that are now selling iPods. He included an ad from a local paper. I think it is great that 7-11 is now a “Apple Authorized Reseller”. Notice the logo in the ad.
Lim says:
Seven-Eleven Singapore is working with Apple Singapore to sell iPod products in Seven-Eleven Stores in the island. Soon you can walk into Seven-Eleven and get your iPod!
Podbrix, http://www.podbrix.com has released it’s second edition collectible mini “LEGO” figurine. This one is titled “Keynote” and features Steve Jobs doing a presentation and holding an iPod Shuffle. The limited edition of 300 hand numbered and signed figures went on sale at midnight on February 25th and sold out in just 36 minutes.
New iPod Photo packaging is thinner, has foil lettering and less emphasis on the word “Photo”.
In a newsletter released Wednesday, Apple gave customers a first look at the packaging for OS X Tiger scheduled for release in the first half of 2005. The package is all black with a large platinum “X” that extends off the edges of the box. Drop shadows add to the illusion.

Todd over at Geek News Central mentioned this on his Podcast. This guy could be solely responsible for all Apple’s sales of the Cube.
OK. So this is pretty funny. This photo was on Engadget. It basically plays off the statment we discussed on the show where Apple claaims they could make a G5 PowerBook, but it wouldn’t meet their design standards. I guess they would be correct.
