    • Before you take a picture, iPhone does auto white balance, auto exposure, creating a dynamic local tone map around the image to get better highlights and shadows, autofocus matrix metering for more sharpness, and it actually takes multiple photos, analyzes them in real time for which is the sharpest, and that’s what you see.

    • Long exposure to get picture, but blurry. iPhone 5S gets you a much sharper image. With a single press of a shutter takes multiple photos, but figures out how to blend them together.
  • Burst mode. Hold down on the shutter it’ll burst a bunch of photos; 10 fps for as long as you hold the shutter.
    • Shows just a few in the Camera roll, but you can expand them.
    • In real time as you take those photos, iPhone analyzes them and presents what it thinks might be your favorite shot; you can go and select any of the other ones you want.
  • One more feature: slo-mo.
    • Captures HD video at 720p at 120fps.
